Empowering Adults to Return to College

The New Day Beginning Scholarship is designed specifically to support adults who are ready to return to college and take a bold step toward a better future. Whether you’re continuing a paused journey or starting fresh, this scholarship can help lighten the financial burden and open new doors.

Who Should Apply?

We’re looking for individuals who:

• Are 25 years or older
• Have a high school diploma or GED
• Are planning to enroll in a college, university, or accredited trade program
• Can demonstrate how continuing their education will positively impact their life and community

You do not need to be currently enrolled to apply, but must show intent to enroll in the upcoming academic year.

How to Apply

Deadline to Apply: June 30, 2025
Scholarship Awarded: July 19, 2025 at A Night of the Arts

To apply, please submit:

1. Your full name and contact information
2. A short personal statement or essay (300–500 words) answering:
   “How will returning to college change your life and help you build a better future?”
3. Optional: Any relevant documentation or letter of recommendation (not required, but helpful)

Selection Process

Applications are reviewed by a panel of volunteers who consider your story, goals, and commitment to personal and community growth. One recipient will be selected and honored live at A Night of the Arts.
